Texas Commission on Private
Security
July 30, 2002
TO: All Qualified Managers
REF: Training Session
Over the past few months, the Texas Commission on Private Security has conducted Procedures Training in Dallas, Austin and San Antonio, Texas, in an effort to enhance the processing of all documentation submitted to the Commission, which in turn ensures a speedy turn around for receipt of all licenses and individual registrations back to the Industry.
One area that has become of primary concern to the Industry and the Commission, is the vast number of fingerprint rejections.
A Training Session has been scheduled for September 18, 2002 from 9:00am until 4:00pm at the Commission Office in Austin, Texas at the above address. This Session will include representatives from Investigations, Administration, Information Technology, and License Division who will discuss procedures from funds, forms, criminal history, administrative violations and the
webpage. It will also include representatives from the Texas Department of Public Safety, who will conduct a Fingerprint Training Session.
Class size is limited to twenty-five (25) individuals, so RSVP early. Due to the nature of this Training, the number of slots given to each company may be limited. I will be the point of contact and can be reached toll free at 1 888 544 4774 or e-mail at
([email protected]).
Progress continues.
Sincerely,
Larry Washington
