Mr. Deckert has been an active member of ASSIST since 2007 when he was nominated and elected as the regions vice president. In 2010 he was nominated and elected as the regional President after Alan Trevino was elected as the State Board President.
Former President and CEO of a Texas based security company acquired by Sentry Security in July of 2010, Mr. Deckert is a former IT consultant, Customer Service Director, IT Director, Customer Support Help Desk manager and Private Adoption Investigator.
Mr. Deckert holds level III Commission and level IV Personal Protection Officer License’s and has taken the MMPI psychological inventory exam. He is also a licensed Private Investigator and specializes in fugitive tracking and apprehension as owner/partner with Texas Bounty Hunters.
Mr. Deckert is a US Army veteran with multiple commendations for outstanding service and has served overseas with the 2nd Infantry Division, Camp Casey Korea as well as with the 1st Calvary Division Horse Platoon at FT Hood.Mr. Deckert is currently an Honorary Chairman of the Business Advisory Council of the National Republican Congress and has been awarded the National Leadership Award.
