ASSIST Fallen Officer Fund is currently accepting submissions for Officer of the Year.
We will be accepting applications UNTIL 9/14/2024.

The winning officer will receive a $500 dollar Check, a night at the Hilton RIO with us Oct 1st as well as receiving the award at the President’s Gala.

ASSIST has and always will honor our fallen officers and provides support to their families during their time of need.
The Fallen Officer Fund (FOF) was established by ASSIST in 2004 after a tragic shooting of a security officer in Dallas, TX. This officer was working alone in an armed 2-man post with an empty holster and sadly laid under a parked car in the bitter cold for hours before anyone called for help. When it was discovered that the family could not afford to bury their loved one, ASSIST members came together to provide financial support.
Since then, ASSIST has been supporting officers and their families after line of duty deaths and catastrophic events. We have stood by families during difficult times, providing financial assistance until Worker’s Compensation and Social Security Survivor benefits could offer support.
