Gov. Perry Appoints Four to Texas PSB

AUSTIN - Govenor Rick Perry has appointed four members to the Texas Private Security Board. The board licenses private investigation, security guard, burglar alarm, courier, armored car and access control companies. In addition, it approves training schools for individuals employed by these companies. Through the TPSB, it registers employees of these companies.

As a community education and development leader, I feel that serving on the board is a unique opportunity to learn about and contribute to an important facet of community involvement. 	As a public member of the TPSIS, while also practicing as an attorney in the public sector and as a former police officer, I think I will bring a unique perspective to the board.
