ASSIST �Meet your Legislator� Day

March 11, 2003 will be our �Meet your Legislator� day for ASSIST. This is the day we walk the halls of the capitol and call on our representatives, and advise them on any upcoming bills that ASSIST has an interest.

The Dallas-Ft.Worth and Houston chapters plan to charter buses to Austin for the event. We will have handouts, and ASSIST logo items to drop off for our visit.

After �stalking� our elected legislators, the ASSIST executive board will be meeting and everyone is welcome to attend and observe the association�s elected representatives in action!

Hope you�re planning on attending. This will be an interesting session in the legislature, and ASSIST has big plans for the coming year.
