Andrew Farkas, Attorney at Law, Andrew L. Farkas, P.C.

Andrew Farkas received his Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law in 1975. He has been in private practice since 1981. His firm provides assistance in areas including Civil, Criminal, Collections and Family Law. Mr. Farkas was trained as a mediator in 1996. Prior to his practice, he served as a Judge Advocate (JAG) for the United States Air Force on active duty from 1976-1980 and as a reserve from 1980-1983. Mr. Farkas has been Licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas and the United States District Court, Northern District of Texas since 1980. He served as President of Collin County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association from 2003-2004, is a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, and Member of College of theState Bar of Texas. Mr. Farkas� presentation will provide valuable tips designed to increase the chances of actually collecting what you are owed.

Dennis Hamilton, President and Sr. Consultant, Hamilton Innovative

Dennis Hamilton is the founder and president of Hamilton Innovative, an agency targeting branding, design and web site marketing launched in August 2004. Prior to starting the company, Dennis worked 18 years with Standard Register, a leading document services provider. He was the project development lead with the Internet Technology Solutions team responsible for the complete overhaul of the Internet marketing and Intranet web sites strategy. His presentation will be online marketing, do's, don'ts, and best practices etc.

Gary Kuty, President & CEO, Kuty & Associates, LLC

A 30-year veteran of the law enforcement and private security profession. Gary is a graduate of Youngstown State University, Youngstown, Ohio with a Bachelor of Science in Law Enforcement Administration, and a minor in marketing. He is Past President and Chairman of both the Ohio Association of Security and Investigation Services (OASIS) and the National Council of Investigation and Security Services (NCISS), and also serves as Vice Chair for the Private Security Services Council for the American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS). Delegation, leadership skills and organizational skills are examples of what will be reviewed and discussed in order to develop more effective leadership skills.

Andrew Neal, President, Southwest Digital Laboratory

Established a digital forensics and data recovery laboratory to serve the El Paso region, Southwestern United States and northern Mexico. Founder and President of a business and technology services company. Co-founded and served as operations manager of a computer services and software development company. Member of Board of Directors for the International Organization for Secure Commerce. This class will cover the threats posed by a variety of technology tools, from the common to the unusual. Participants will be given effective methods for getting the most out of their high-tech tools while minimizing the associated risks.

Tommy Simmons, Legal Counsel to Tom Pauken
(Commissioner Representing Employers)

As a private-sector employment law attorney from 1998 to 2004, Simmons practiced employment law on the side of management, and operated an Internet-based employment law information site focused on the needs of employers. In the public sector, Mr. Simmons is legal counsel for Chairman Tom Pauken, the employer representative on the Texas Workforce Commission, and served in the same capacity for the prior employer representatives on the Texas Employment Commission and the Texas Workforce Commission, Commissioners Mary Scott Nabers, James J. Kaster, Chairman Bill Hammond, and Commissioner Ron Lehman from 1987 through 1998, and 2004 through the present. He will focus on the basic structure of the UI system and describe agency procedures for all stages of the claim and appeal process. The presentation will explain how UI claims can affect an employer's state UI tax rate.

Ethics Course � Amber Bollinger, National Training Manager with IPC International Corp.

Amber Bollinger has been employed with IPC for eight years, and served four of those years as a Regional Human Resources Representative for the southern United States, to include Texas. Amber is a Certified Human Resources Professional through the Society for Human Resources and a Certified Instructional Designer through Langevin. She holds a degree in Criminal Justice from the College of Lake County in Illinois and has completed a Business Acumen Accreditation with the Lake Forest School of Management.
