Details of Benefits
ACCIDENTAL DEATH AND DISMEMBERMENT INSURANCE
Individual ASSIST members and their families receive a payment of up to $10,000 in case of an accident that results in serious injury or death to the member, both on- and off-duty. This unique policy pays even if the claim arises because of a crime committed against the officer. We offer this insurance through the National Union Fire Insurance Company. A full copy of the policy can be requested from ASSIST.

A well-meaning security services contractor can easily run afoul of the law simply by not filing the proper paperwork at the right time. Voting allows you to have a voice in the leadership of ASSIST and a voice in making organizational decisions.
How to Apply
Voting and Associate ASSIST membership are for licensed private security and private investigation companies and their employees. Employees are encouraged to visit with company leadership to become active members of ASSIST. However, any licensed private security officer and private investigator can join ASSIST without their employer joining.
