ASSIST AND THE SECURITY PROFESSION IN TEXAS

The security profession continues to improve but just when you think we are making progress something comes along the way with a negative impact.

Just recently, we were informed that a State Legislator was trying to pass a bill that would allow felons to work in the security profession.

When I heard this, all I said was, “give me a break.” Folks, I am concerned with such actions but again, we can’t sit around and do nothing. I can assure you that we will do whatever it takes to keep our profession clear from felons.

The last word is “No felons in the security profession.”
